As part of the series of webinars dedicated to the OCP-Al Moutmir program of no-till farming, a second webinar was devoted on 23/05/2022 to the Central & Saiss regions. This last one knew the participation of the agronomists responsible for the provinces of Settat, Khemisset & El Hajeb alongside the expert in conservation agriculture, Dr. El Houcine El Mzouri, who shared data on the state of crops that knew exceptional climate conditions.
Thus, the analysis of the data collected and the preliminary results obtained during the comparison between the demonstration platforms of no-till farming and the controls conducted in conventional farming have recorded :

• A reduction in expenses due to soil work of 700 to 1200 MAD/ha;
• A significant improvement of more than 45.5% on average for the Central region and of 35% for the region of Saiss in the height of the plant cover at the level of the direct seeding demonstration platforms.
• A significant improvement of more than 112% on average for the Central region and of 79% for the region of Saiss in the number of ears per plant at the level of the direct seeding demonstration platforms.
