OCP took part on January 28th, 2021 in the national seminar on "Strengthening agroclimatic resilience: sustainability of cereal systems and improvements of soil health in Morocco". The Al Moutmir team presented the OCP no-till program, which supports national efforts to strengthen the resilience of agriculture to climate.

More than 10,000 hectares of direct seeding have been carried out in phase 1 of the OCP program and more than 20,000 hectares are under way for the 2020-2021 campaign. OCP works hand in hand with national scientific and institutional actors to encourage the adoption of this practice and facilitate farmers' access to seed drills and also to dedicated training.

As a reminder, within the framework of the "green generation" plan, Morocco has set itself the objective of 1.5 Mha of surface under direct sowing by 2030, compared to about 20,000 ha today.
