The Al Moutmir Community of Practice on sustainable management of water in agriculture brought together more than 50 participants, including experts, researchers, practitioners, agronomists, farmers, start-ups, technology providers, media to explore practical and innovative water management solutions for resilient agriculture.

Key topics included irrigation water management, non-conventional water resources (desalination technologies, ground water treatment, reused water) local water treatment systems, water harvest local techniques, adapted crop choices and farming decisions and smart irrigation solutions,

The presentations on the national program of desalinated water and its implementation in Agadir region gave participants both interesting insights and also hope and stimulated interesting discussions on how to scale in other areas.

Through expert insights, case studies, and interactive workshops, participants exchanged valuable experiences and best practices to improve water efficiency and sustainable use in agriculture.
