The OCP-Al Moutmir initiative has conducted more than 17,700 demonstration platforms since its launch. During the 2020/2021 agricultural season, more than 1506 demonstration platforms have been dedicated to olive cultivation in 28 agricultural provinces.
Because of the importance of the olive tree in the agricultural system of the El Kelâa des Sraghna province, 138 demonstration platforms have been deployed, covering 10 territorial communes. The adoption of an Integrated Crop Management Program (ICP) for olive trees has increased yields by 60% in some PFD plots compared to yields obtained by farmers in control plots.
